I'm Only Going To Do This Once More!

Well, it all began on the day of February 1, 2000. He came to work early and was standing around, and kept pacing back and forth. Then he got nervous and was breathing hard. So he left and went to get some tea. He wasn't suppose to be at work for 2 more hours. He never came back. He had gotten nervous at the meeting. He went to his desk and then emailed me to see if I was there. I wasn't. A few moments later, he came to my desk. Then started breathing hard and sweating like a horse. He almost passed out. He was so nervous. I told him to sit down, because I knew what he was going to do.

He then asked me to marry him. I said yes honey. He put the ring on my finger, but wouldn't let me see it. He wouldn't give me my hand. so, finally I talked him into it. He was afraid I wouldn't like the ring. It was beautiful. It was shaped like a bow. It was made of round diamonds, baguettes and marquise. It was awesome. I never imagined he would buy me something so beautiful. Well, he did.

Everyone at work was shocked. They didn't know we had been dating. I am 9 years older than he and also African American and he is Caucasian. Now, from that point they knew, we were getting married. YES.

Well, on the way home that night after work, he asked for the ring back because he didn't like it. I gave it back. He took it, went to the store the next day, bought this ring that cost almost as much as my car and then came to work on February 3rd. and emailed me. " Cleo.... are you at your desk?
Yes.......
I am only going to do this once more.....
YES
WILL YOU MARRY ME.?????
YESYESYESYESYES.

He then came to my desk and asked me again to marry him. I said yes, and then he put the ring on my finger. When I saw it after opening my eyes, I was shocked! It was huge! tcw one full 18 baguette diamonds and a center cut marquise. The wedding jacket to the ring is another 3/4 carat. It is so awesome! I am still shocked. We have nine weeks left until our Dec 16, 2000 wedding and I can't wait to be his wife.
